Turkish security forces are killing civilians as they continue their attacks on cities and towns throughout Kurdistan – reports an article from DİHA carried by Özgür Gündem.
Today in Silopi’s Nur neighborhood Turkish special operations units shot and killed a 25 year-old youth named Şiyar Özbek as he emerged in front of his house. Meanwhile in the town’s Başak neighborhood, also under heavy bombardment, a 70-year old man named Süleyman Çoban died after he suffered a heart-attack and was unable to reach hospital.
Six civilians have so far been killed as of the 6th day of the state attacks on Silopi. The day before two children also lost their lives in Nur neighborhood when a tank shell struck a house in which they were present.
