Democratic Forces of Syria (QSD) Breach ISIS Defenses South Of Til Berak

(ANF) The Democratic Forces of Syria (QSD) – an umbrella force including the YPG as well as allied Arab and Syriac forces – is continuing to advance south of Til Berak despite ISIS opposition.

Earlier this afternoon (local time) a QSD-force led by YPG/YPJ units breached an ISIS defensive minefield near Qera Sagira (small village), around 15 km from Til Berak.

After securing the area QSD personal began work to clear the minefield and destroy any remaining booby traps.

The QSD is promising to continue its advance until it has liberated the entire Rakka and Hol regions in North-eastern Syria from under ISIS contro.
