Medicine For Rojava – Donations Requested

A large shipment of medicine has been sent to Rojava as part of the ‘Brotherly Hand For Rojava’ Campaign run by the Pharmacists’ Associations in Kurdistan, says a new article in Özgür Gündem.

The campaign, which was started by the Pharmacists’ Association of Mardin-Şırnak, is ongoing. Thus far a trailer and one truck-load of medicine, medical equipment and other medical supplies have been sent to Rojava through the Şenyurt (Dilbêsîyê) border gate near the town of Kızıltepe.

A statement released by the Mardin-Şırnak Pharmacists’ Association said that the medicine and supplies donated by the people of the region would be sent in accordance with a list of needs provided by officials in Rojava. The statement called on people to donate, saying “we await the support of our people at money boxes left in our pharmacies, or made to our campaign’s bank account or via SMS.”
